The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
